Wow, it's Wednesday allready. How'd that happen??

The first half of my week has been one of action-packed fun and enjoyment. Most of it revolving around youngest brother, Matt, and his 13th birthday. Happy birthday kiddo, hope you enjoyed your day.

Anyway, I awoke early on Monday morning, because I had been commisioned with the task of making him a cake. After deliberations, me and Mum descided to make a pavlova, in the shape of an England flag. We had never attempted it before, and were fully expecting it to turn out the jelly castle we did for Charlie Woodward's 3rd birthday, which ended up all over my kitchen floor, and I was swimming in a pool of jelly. But it didn't! Keep reading for pictures. Anyway, when this was made, it was time for cricket, and the game of the season, against Avencroft. We're good mates with Skinner, and Rodders, and they're a good bunch of lads. Sorry guys, we trounced you. Big up to Will "Puddle" Lake, who got 94*, and JJ, who took 3 wickets in two overs, for the loss of one run. Be proud, Helen, be very proud. Kelly came to watch, which was nice. Thanks Kel =D

Tuesday, I was up early again. It was good old 6th form induction day, so another day of patronising team-building exercies and forced conversations with new kids, then. Nah, I made a new friend, David from Colmers. He was cool, he gave me a straw and is going to be my best man. We made a cool woman out of baloons and cardboard, and won a prize from the judging panal of Mrs. Newman and Mrs. Nibbs. Ta, ladies. Won some bubbles, which me and Lucy blew on the steps of the school. One hit Mr. Mead, ha, sorry mate. Then went home to eat my Mum's beautiful chicken pie, and my amazing pavlova creation, which looked a little like this:



After eating far too much, we went off to the Worcester Area Music Centre concert, in which Matt was playing and I was acting as Euphonium Tutor. Brass on the Run was the dogs, as usual, and the whole evening was lovely. The wind band did 'Baby Elephant Walk', which I'm sure is from a Disney film, but I can't remember which one. Answers on a post card please. Now I must go, but before I do, here's a note for my sponsers:

Anyway, howdy people!

 

How is your life?  I sincerly hope you are all as happy as I am, which is rather happy.  (I know Dom will now correct the spelling of that, so go on Selfy-Babe, make my day).  Today has been a really wierd but good day, and I would love to share it with you.

 

I got up, and I went off to have a shower.  I was in the shower, it was nice and warm and all that, and then suddenly, all the hot water in the world dissappeared, and I was turned into an icicle.  I swore, loudly.  Thankfully, nobody heard me.  But I was very annoyed.  Then I spent about 30 mins looking for my tie, and found it on top of my wardrobe.  How it got there, I really do not know, and it wasn't there the first 4 times I looked.  So that was nice.  Went out the house, and up to school.  Me and Matt made up a cool cover of the Automatic song:  "What's that coming over the hill?  It's you on D of E, it's you on D of Eeeeeeee!" and life was happy.  Went into History exam, and the happiness was over.  It was about propaganda.  NOT votes for women, as Momma B had promised me.  I struggled through it, ran out of time, and hopefully did ok.  Then went home, and learnt the 2 year physics course in about 10 mins.

 

Lou came round after lunch, to watch the football.  Pinched her RCHP album and ripped it, and it isn't half bad.  The Mars disc is better than the Juptior one, imho.  Fell asleep, woke up, had a interesting conversation about the key in the bathroom door, and went to watch the game.  It was quite good, apart from the fact England were shite.  Ate biscuits, lots of them, and had more interesting conversation about the way Katy talks.  Then she went home, and me and Mum went to Rubery to search for brotherio.  Every single person in Rubery was wearing an England replica shirt.  Literally, everyone.  Me and Mum felt the odd ones out.  Couldn't find Matt, so went home.  Watched Sweeden game, drank a bottle of water.  Blogged.

 

It really doesn't look that great written down, does it??  Well, I had a great day all the same.  I need sleep now, so here we go:

 

Lucy: Welcome to the top of the blogfans list.  I hope you like it here.  Momma K says she'll always give you a lift home after exams, there's no need to walk.  Aaand why did you and me seem to work through the History exam at exactly the same pace?? The mind boggles.

Lou:  What do I say??  My good mood says it all.

Josie:  Don't lose the emo fringe, I like it.

Helen:  Goshdarn you getting me into ''-age''.  And thanks for correcting my French spelling.  I'm gonna do shite in that tomorrow.

Dom:  Please, please, please, will you sit my Physics exam tomorrow?  Seeing as it is the fault of your girlfriend that I know none of it.  And i'm looking forward to seeing you and friends on Saturday.

Wow, it feels so good to be able to say I've been up for the best part of two hours, trying to reteach myself everything Mr. Griffin ever taught me.  Like eletrolysis.  Huh, say that again Gruf?  All I remember of that is crystal lattice, breaks, etc.  Thats it.  Oh, and that electrons go around the outside, around the outside, around the outside.  Hahaha, thank you Mr. Griffin.  We really loved you.

 

Played cricket last night.  We hammered Reddich, I swear they had a decent team last year.  They got 90-odd and we knocked them off in 13 overs, well, Will and Callum did.  We just sat on the bench and made fun of Byatt and tried to persuade Stu to come to RaVe.  He looked quite keen, until Luke told him we were playing naked, then he rapidly went off the idea.  I got a nice bruise on my shin, but it's ok, it stopped four, and I've gotta contribute in some way.  13 days until the big game.  You're going down Avencroft, the Boars are on fire

 

Wow, I'm going to see the remake of ''The Omen'' today.  I saw the original a while back when I got in from Lou's at about 2 a.m, which really isn't the time to watch it.  I shat my pants.  Especially when the dude loses his head.  It was a quality film though, I hope they haven't ruined it with the remake.  It got me thinking, they promised us the antichrist on 06/06/2006, where is he/she?  Surely, if the devil was on earth, he'd have done bad stuff by now.  In my humble opinion, there is no antichrist.  It's more Catholic bullshit from years ago.  Bloody good film they made out of it, though.

 

I didn't tell you about my trip to Elton John did i?? Dear gosh!  I went to see Elton John on Sunday evening, with family and my booday Kelly.  If you get the chance to go see him live, go.  He's brill.  Got a nice suntan on one side of my arm, and we seemed to be watching the clouds, waiting to see when they'd go over the sun so we could actually see something.  I was sorely tempted to get up and go and dance, which is a rare urge for me.  I resisited, hwoever, reasoning that if I had gone, I'd have been on my own.  And that would not have been good.  But yeah, he was brill.  And I had ''Rocket Man'' in my head all the way through Maths yesterday.  Ta, Elt.  You are now my best bud.

 

Right, now I must get back to Chemistry.  Once again, a message for my readers.

 

Lou:  I found the second verse of ''The Owl and The Pussycat!".  I'll sing it to you later.

Lucy: Sadly, no Abid Amin at cricket this week.  However, next week we are playing a kid who looks just like Fred.

Josie: Congrats on the return of internet.  I have felt that same pain many times before.

Helen: I hate you, you have got me into saying "--idge."  I said 'Wicketage" at cricket last night, which made JJ laugh lots.

Just had an English exam, got really sweaty like everyone else in there, it was like being at T.  C, but without the random sex, loud music, and depressed people wearing black.  Had a bit of a rant in my letter, which was fun, kept going on and on and really got into it.  Then, the highlight of my day.  Miss. Bird came round to me and said "Have you finished with your Old Man and The Sea book?"  I couldn't say yes quick enough.  I never have to worry about silly Santiago or moronic Manolin any more.  W00t.

 

I'm off out now, in the sweltering heat, to do my brother's gardening job for him, 'cause he's too busy playing cricket.  Tsssk, I tell you.  I've got much better things to be doing than cutting hedges and mowing lawns, especially seeing as I'm not getting any money for it, but I suppose that's brotherly love for you.

It's been so long.  Ahh the good times are rolling in.  Well let me fill you in on my life as it is at the moment.  Had jolly English today, which was nice and easy.  I would now like to publicly thanks Miss. Bird for her 2 minute pep talk before the exam, she basiclly told me the answers.  Thanks Miss, wish they were all like you.  You taught me more in those 2 mins than Miss. Amusing story time.  I was playing cricket last night, and I walked out to bat at my new position of number 4.  On arrival at the crease, I was stood face nto face with a legend of our times.  Yes, ladies and gents, it was Abid Amin, of Lickey fame.  I have some great piccies of him at Lickey, maybe I'll dig em out sometime and wack them on here.  But ha to you Abid, we beat you.  And you lot were RUBBISH.  Hehe.
